North East India recently celebrated a monumental step forward for its agro-processing sector. The region welcomed one of its largest and most advanced organic spice processing infrastructures, “Eastern Ri-Bhoi Organic”. Consequently, Genex Tech Industries LLP (Gti Group) feels deeply honored to have played a foundational role in building this state-of-the-art facility.
A High-Profile Inauguration
First and foremost, Union Finance Minister of India, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, officially inaugurated the landmark facility during a prestigious ceremony. In addition, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri Conrad K. Sangma, and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang, graced the event alongside other distinguished dignitaries and local stakeholders.

Clearly, the presence of such high-level leadership underscores the strategic national importance of this project. Furthermore, this milestone signals a transformative shift toward regional value addition, economic self-reliance, and agricultural empowerment across the North Eastern states.
“This project reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting India’s food, chemical, and pharmaceutical processing sectors through world-class engineering, advanced thermal processing technology, and reliable turnkey solutions.”
Engineering Excellence: Advanced Multilayer Tray Belt Dryers
Crucially, dehydration is the most critical phase in organic spice processing. This stage directly impacts flavor retention, color longevity, and overall product shelf-life. Therefore, Genex Tech Industries custom-designed and manufactured the high-performance dehydration machinery running at this world-class facility.
During the formal plant walkthrough, our team proudly showcased two of our flagship industrial dryers to the visiting dignitaries. Specifically, we deployed our advanced multilayer tray-type belt dryer solutions to handle the region’s core premium produce: ginger, turmeric, and chili. We engineered these heavy-duty systems as specialized spice drying systems to meet strict hygienic and precision thermal benchmarks. As a result, they ensure that local organic crops transform into premium, export-ready spices while preserving natural volatile oils and vibrant color profiles.

Driving Sustainability and Agrarian Growth
At Genex Tech Industries, we believe industrial engineering must serve a larger economic and social purpose. For this reason, this project represents more than a technical milestone. Instead, it establishes a sustainable ecosystem built to deliver lasting regional impact:
-
Empowering Local Farmers: Because the facility provides large-scale processing capabilities close to farm gates, it minimizes post-harvest losses. Consequently, regional organic ginger, turmeric, and chili cultivators secure much better price realization.
-
Strengthening the Food Ecosystem: Meanwhile, the facility seamlessly bridges the gap between raw organic cultivation and high-value commercial supply chains. Thus, it strengthens domestic processing capacities significantly.
-
Sustainable Operations: Additionally, our industrial drying machinery utilizes optimized thermal efficiency profiles. This setup directly reduces fuel and power footprints, which aligns perfectly with international green processing initiatives.

A Note of Gratitude
Undoubtedly, an achievement of this scale requires collective vision, hard work, and seamless collaboration. For that reason, we extend our deepest gratitude to the leadership of Eastern Ri-Bhoi Organic and all participating stakeholders. We thank you for placing your absolute trust in Genex Tech Industries LLP.
Together, we are creating sustainable value-addition opportunities for farmers. Simultaneously, we are building an unshakeable foundation for India’s food processing ecosystem.
